- Description:
- Newnan, 1952. Display in the window of the Belk-Gallant Department Store. An anchor made out of poppies was presented to the American Legion Auxiliary by the family of King T. Wilson, Junior. He was a lieutenant in the Air Force and he died June 28, 1950. A portrait of Wilson can be seen, too. The sign to the right of the anchor indicates that it would be launched in the Atlantic Ocean May 30, 1952.
