- Newnan, ca. 1981. Professor Daniel Walker and his wife, Hattie Faver Walker, pose for a photograph on the steps of what was probably their home. The Walkers are seated on the top row at the far right. The other people in the photograph may have been family members. Daniel Walker (1832-1908) trained for the teaching profession at Mercer University. He was associated with the Newnan Male Seminary and with public schools, too.
