See the cats sleeping peacefully on the floor near the stove after having disposed of from a nearby grocery store. Dr. H.A. Glore, a Medical Doctor, first opened a drug store in Mableton in 1911, and was elected the first Mayor of Mableton in 1912 when the town was first incorporated. See Georgia Laws 1912, page 1085.
