- "Marietta, August 5, 1923. M.L. McNeel, Jr., Frank McNeel (both of Marietta), Richard Hickey of Atlanta and Bobby Jones of Atlanta at Marietta Country Club. Both the McNeels were with McNeel Marble Company. Frank McNeel later on Kennesaw House as hotel, museum, picture framing shop. Number 9 (?) green, rear view of Marietta Country Club clubhouse in background. (Marietta Country Club, 510 Powder Springs Road, Marietta). Taken several weeks after Bobby Jones won U.S. Open. All four men had attended Georgia Tech together."--from field notes
