Description:
Fort Gaines. Gazebo located in New Park Cemetery. This Victorian structure is said to have been built ca. 1880 on a small Indian mound. It was designed by C.W. Morris. The fort Gaines Home and Garden Club was responsible for having repairs made to the gazebo in 1970. The club has also planted shrubbery around it.
