- Fort Gaines, ca. 1970s. Gazebo located in New Park Cemetery. This Victorian structure is said to have been built ca. 1880. It was designed by C.W. Morris. It was built on a small Indian mound. The Fort Gaines Home and Garden Club was responsible for having repairs made to the gazebo and for planting shrubbery around it. Members of the club, left to right: Mrs. Frank Graham, Mrs. W.D.
