- Description:
- Colquitt County, ca. 1919-1928. Fields School, served a community of seventy-five pupils. At the time of consolidation between 1919 and 1928, the following was said about the school, "Needs better location, which is available nearby. Building needs painting, ceiling, furnishing, and another room. No tax. Fields was located badly due to being crowded by other buildings. Should be removed to an elegant location nearby. Also needs ceiling, window blinds, and painting. A two-room building is needed for a school community of this size."
