- Colquitt County, ca. 1919-1928. Pleasant Hill School, located in the southeastern part of the county, served a community of about fifty pupils. The school was consolidated sometime between 1919 and 1928. At the time consolidation was to occur, the following observation was made about Pleasant Hill, "Needs new house. No tax. Needs replacing with a new building."
