- Carrollton, ca. 1919. Square crowded with people on market day. Many of them have brought their cotton to town. Part of the business district can be seen in the background. The four-story building is the Peoples Bank. According to the awning over the window, part of the first floor was occupied by the Carrollton Drug Co. Note the Confederate Monument. The photograph was taken looking west.
