- Carrollton, 1913. Square crowded with people on market day. Many of them have brought their cotton to town. Part of the business district seen in the background. Note the Confederate Monument, the types of wagons bringing cotton to town, the period automobiles in the foreground, and the wagon in the center of the photograph near the monument. The wagon may have been an early form of concession stand. The photograph was taken looking north.
