- Carrollton, June 1911. Group of people poses for a photograph at the 4th District A&M School graduation. The school opened in January of 1908. It closed in 1933 when the state withdrew its financial support. Today West Georgia College, part of the University System, occupies this site. Standing on the bottom step is 4th District Congressman William Charles Adamson. The two women standing on the sixth step are Mrs. Joseph Mackey Brown (left) and Mrs. William Charles Adamson. Gov. Joseph Mackey Brown is standing just behind and to the left of Mrs. Brown. Judge George P. Munro is standing between the two women.
