- Bowdon, Feb. 2, 1920. Crowd gathers around biplane. It is said that this was the first airplane to come to Bowdon. The pilot was C. W. Meyer, and the passenger was Burt Hood. The biplane crashed about ten minutes after this photograph was taken. See: car033.
