- Bowdon, Feb. 2, 1920. Crowd gathers near a biplane that had crashed. It is said that this was the first airplane to come to Bowdon. The pilot was C. W. Meyer, and the passenger was Burt Hood. See: car034 for a view of the biplane that was taken about ten minutes prior to the crash.
