- Bowdon, 1909. Dr. J. L. Lovvorn stands beside his automobile, one of the first in Bowdon. It is parked in front of the Bank of Bowdon located on Main Street. The Bowdon Fruit Co. is at far left. The office of Dr. J. G. Morris, a dentist, is located upstairs in the building at the right. Dobson Drug Co. currently occupies the bank site.
