- Description:
- Burke County, ca. 1900. Old Church located about six miles south of Waynesboro on the Old Quaker Road. It was built during Revolutionary times when the area was part of the Parish of St. George. The church was Episcopal. After 1830 the church was used by the Methodists. About 1930 the church was taken over by the American Legion. In 1934 the structure was destroyed by fire.
