- Description:
- Greens Cut, ca. 1878. These blacks are shucking corn. The structure in the background was where cotton grown on the plantation of Moses Green was ginned. This community is located six miles north of Waynesboro on the Central Georgia Railroad. It received its name because a railroad cut ran through the land owned by Mr. Green.
