- Winder, ca. 1916. Barrow County Jail, located on Athens Street just behind the Barrow County Courthouse. It was built 1915-1916. It stands today and is still used as a jail. The tower for hanging has never been used. Members of the Georgia National Guard, probably from Winder, seen in front of the jail.
