- Barrow County, 1920. Some members of the congregation of Bush Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church gather for a photograph on Easter Sunday on the steps of the chapel. The church was organized in 1862. The present structure was not totally completed until September of 1922. Land for the church was given by Wiley Harrison Bush. Granite for the structure was cut from a nearby quarry.
