- Barrow County, ca. late 1800s. White's Mill, located on Cedar Creek northwest of Winder. The mill was owned and operated by Robert White. Prior to the Civil War a furniture factory and a factory for making felt hats were operated near the mill. The mill no longer remains, but the area is still a popular recreation site.
