- Macon, Jan. 19, 1947 or 1948. Kappa Alpha Order assembles at the intersection of First and Poplar Streets for KA Old South Ball parade on Old South Day. The elaborate Gothic building behind the men is the Volunteer Armory, built ca. 1884. Elliott Dunwoody, Knight Commander of the KA order and the man not dressed in uniform at far left, is inspecting the troops.
