- Macon, Oct. 24-29, 1887. Part of festivities of the Georgia State Fair. In addition to exhibits, parades, etc. there was also a Confederate veteran reunion. Jefferson Davis was among the more prominent guests. Davis is riding in the carriage being drawn by the white horses in front of the Lanier House. Note the decorative streamers. This was on Mulberry Street.
