- "Milledgeville, about 1914.Joseph Yates Green (now living at Perry Hotel, Perry, Georgia), Blanche Green (living in Lane Place), and Walter Cadwallader Green, Jr. (retired, living in Panama City, Fla.) Highway 212, northwest of Milledgeville. The home is the original log cabin of the Green family. It was built in 1818 or 1820 and has been lived in continually by some member of the Green family. The picture was taken from the front when the new section of the house was added in about 1913."--from field notes
