- Milledgeville, early 1960s. Interior view of part of former Governor's Mansion during restoration, which was completed in 1967. It is located at 120 South Clark Street. Construction began on it in 1838. Its design is Greek Revival. Governors resided there from 1839-1868. Since 1889 presidents of Georgia College have lived there.
