- Description:
- Milledgeville, ca. 1880. Group of people gathered in front of the Governor's Mansion. It is located at 120 South Clark Street. Construction began on it in 1838. John Pell, Timothy Porter, and Charles B. Cluskey have been associated with its Greek Revival design. Governors resided here from 1839-1868. Since 1889 presidents of Georgia College have lived here. Note open brick fence.
