- Description:
- Located at: One mile from Wrightsville on U.S. 319, Johnson County, Ga.
Two-story stuccoed brick plantation plain house featuring a Greek Revival door frame and two brick chimneys. There is a shed roof on the back of the house, but the single story front porch has a hipped roof supported by six slender columns. The house was originally built like a dogtrot cabin, in two parts, and the breezeway was later closed. The house is approached by a long elm-bordered drive, to one side of which is the old family cemetary. To one side of the house in front is a wood shingled dovecote with a hipped roof of tin, which may have been added later.
