Wood frame Greek Revival cottage with a hipped roof, featuring a portico supported by four slender fluted Doric columns and a Greek Revival door frame. The front porch, which originally spanned the front of the house, was changed in 1940. Confederate General Joseph Wheeler used the house as headquarters in November, 1864.
