Two-story wood frame house with hipped roof, on a foundation of brick, featuring a two-story portico with pediment supported by two smooth round Doric columns, which was added in the twentieth century. The original porch had upper and lower stories with four slender square columns on each level. Also added in the twentieth century were the tile roof and the triple arched windows. Two staircases served the upstairs rooms, one for the boys, and one for the girls with access only through the parents' bedroom. For more information see Linley, John.
