The brick and stucco, two-storied house was built ca. 1840 using a central hall plan and has a hipped roof with four chimneys. The entrance porch is one-storied and has full entablature. From 1888-1906, the First Presbyterian Church used the building as its manse. The house has been locally designated as a Historic Landmark (February 2, 1988). For more information, see Linley, John.
