- Located at: Jones Street, Sparta, Ga.
Two-story wood frame house featuring a portico with a massive entablature supported by six heroic fluted Doric columns and a balcony above the entrance. John Linley says that while the house is reported to have been built before 1823, the woodwork and Greek Revival porch indicate a later date. For more information see Linley, John. Architecture of Middle Georgia: the Oconee Area. Athens, Ga.: University of Georgia Press, c1972, pp. 76-77.
