Two-story wood frame house built during the Federal Transitional period, but is dominated by Greek Revival additions and a two-story portico on two street fronts. The roof of the portico is supported on thirteen fluted Ionic columns, said to represent the thirteen original colonies. The builder was possibly John Marler (also spelled Marlor).
