One of four fluted Ionic columns surmounted by scroll capitols, supporting the two-story portico of a Greek Revival house built 1852-1854. In the foreground is an ornamental gated iron fence separating the small front yard from the sidewalk and street. The doorway is framed by Ionic columns and Doric pilasters. The foundation, window lintels, thresholds and column bases are granite. The house was renovated in 1975.
