- Description:
- Located at: Davisboro, Ga.
Single story wood frame cottage with a spraddle roof. The wide door frame features double sidelights on each side, indicating the house originally had a dog trot. Central brick steps, apparently a modern addition, lead to a porch that spans the front of the house. The house is crowned by two small interior chimneys of brick. For more information see Linley, John. Architecture of Middle Georgia: the Oconee Area. Athens, Ga.: University of Georgia Press, c1972, pp. 60-61.
