Two-story wood frame Transitional Federal house, featuring a two-story entrance portico supported by two fluted Doric columns, and a balcony over the entrance. A striking sunburst fanlight dominates the double door entrance. Mantels throughout are crafted in the Federal style, and one is flanked by decorated niches. First built in Haddock, Ga., around 1828, the house was moved to Newnan, Ga. in 1971. For more information see Linley, John. The Georgia Catalog: Historic American Buildings Survey.
