- Description:
- Located at: Town Square, Sparta, Ga.
This antebellum rectangular two-story building is constructed of brick with an outdoor wooden staircase leading to the second story. It has served a variety of functions for nearly two centuries, such as the Sparta post office. The exact age of the building is unknown, but its handmade bricks indicate it is one of the oldest buildings in town. For more information see Linley, John.
