Mary Hall, the last of the Ford Buildings to be completed in 1931, is a U-shaped building of stone named for Henry Ford's mother. The building features a central square tower with battlements and a pointed arch entrance. Each of the Ford Buildings was designed by Harry Carlson of Boston, and the contractors for Mary Hall were Battson Cook Company of West Point, Georgia. Used as a women's dormitory, the building accomodates up to 300 women. Mary Hall was repaired and refurbished in the 1980s and airconditioning was added in the 1990s.
