One-story wood frame house with attic on a high brick basement featuring a metal gable roof with dormers and end chimneys. The rear of the house has been altered. The ornate cast iron rear balcony was taken from another house. The front porch has slender columns and a delicate railing. In Augusta, the house is known as the Sand Hills Cottage type.
