Rectangular brick church featuring a portico at one end of the pitched roof. Six Doric columns support the portico. The church is topped by a short rectangular bell tower. Originally the Chapel of Old Mercer University, the church was built in 1845 by David Demorest. In 1848 a memorial tablet was placed here to honor Jesse Mercer.
