Two-story wood frame house on a high brick basement with one-story addition on back, featuring one-story porch across the front of the house with entablature supported by six fluted Doric columns. The porch is enclosed by a ballustrade and is reached by a central stairway. The house was built with slave labor, and most of the materials, including solid oak doors, were obtained from the owner's plantation. For more information see Linley, John.
