Slide taken from front steps of Owens' home featuring the snow-covered walkway leading to the home's driveway. Part of the Bloomfield Historic District, Hubert B. Owens' house was designed by Ed Wade of Augusta and built between 1940 and 1941. It is a two-story brick house with one-story wings flanking. The doorway, dating from 1822, is originally from the Reece House which was located on Jackson Street and demolished in 1937.
