The two-story frame house with clapboarding has a fow slop hipped roof, four interior chimneys, and a two-story-high porch. Ten Doric columns support the porch. The original part of the house (circa 1820) was a two-story, two-room cental hall plan. Around 1888, the kitchen was attached to the house.
