Built in 1821 as Philosophical Hall, this structure first housed books and scientific equipment, and subsequently became classrooms, a gym, a boarding house, the College of Agriculture, the home of Registrar Thomas W. Reed, a snack bar and the office of the University of Georgia Press. It was renamed in the 1950s to honor President Moses Waddel, and became the Dean Rusk Center for International Law in 1977.
