This rectangular stuccoed brick church with domed steeple of stacked blocks features a portico with entablature and pediment supported by two-story Doric columns. The three entrances are reached by a long wide stairway with iron railings anchored in the two middle columns. The central block of the steeple features portal windows on all sides. The church stands to the left of the E. K. Lumpkin House, which is an annex of the church. It was in the E. K. Lumpkin House that the first garden club in America was organized by E. K. Lumpkin's wife, Mary Bryan Thomas Lumpkin.
