Two story wood frame house with four brick end chimneys, featuring a one-story entrance portico with pediment supported by three slender square posts at each corner. A one-story addition is visible to the rear. The house was enlarged by Rev. Nathan Hoyt in 1834. The structure now houses the Hoyt House restaurant as part of the Foundry Park Inn and Spa Hotel.
Slide annotated: "House on Hoyt St. Circa 1820-1830; Rev. Anson lived there. His daughter was first wife of Pres. Woodrow Wilson; she lived here for a few years. Anson was Minister at First Presbyterian Church."
