- Located at: Montpelier, Ga.
Plantation plain style house with a tin roof, and what appears to be tin siding, set on a brick foundation. A rusted chimney is visible on the nearest end, next to an attached shed, and a brick chimney emerges from the middle of the single gable roof. A small porch with a tin shed roof is centered in front of the house, above which another small metal chimney, perhaps a stove pipe, can be seen. Fifteen miles west of Macon, Montpelier was once a noted health resort with fourteen springs. Now a ghost town, the community was comprised of eight hundred acres of land.
