Text of marker: "DEEP SOUTH REGION WILLIAM BARTRAM TRAIL TRACED 1773-1777. In July 1774 William Bartram entered Crawford County here, site of Marshall's Mill, going on to Knoxville, Roberta, and Cusetta. ERECTED BY Magnolia District, The Garden Club of Ga., Inc.
