Text of marker: "WILLIAM BARTRAM TRAIL TRACED 1765-1766. On his first journey to Florida in 1765, Bartram and his father, John, observed figs, oranges, peaches, nectarines, and "very delitious" pomegranates at Wormsloe. Erected by Mr. and Mrs. Craig Barrow, III and the Wormsloe Foundation in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and The Bartram Trail Conference" - External Identifiers:
