Text of marker: "(Side One) Rotary International (1905-2005). Founded in Chicago by Paul P. Harris, Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. (Side Two) ROTARY CLUB OF GRIFFIN CENTENNIAL PROJECT. In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Rotary International, the members of the Rotary Club of Griffin raised over $100,000, and in partnership with Habitat for Humanity provided four deserving families with quality housing." - External Identifiers:
