Text of marker: "DAVID AND FRANCES COTTING. This site was known as the Cotting Estate in the mid 1800's. David Cotting, teacher, editor and lawyer, served as Secretary of State from 1868-1873. He was also a member of the constitutional convention. Frances Cotting lived here after her husband's death in 1874. Cotting Court was built in 2001." - External Identifiers:
