The decisions in both the cotton and
peanut referendums are: 1. If 2/3 of the

farmers voting approve the program,
those farmers complying with their al-
lotments will be eligible to receive price

support at the full announced level. The
exact amount will be announced later.
Those farmers who do not comply with
their allotments will not be eligible to

receive price support. 2. If 2/3 of. the

farrners voting do not approve the pro-
gram, the allotments will remain in ef-
fect and price support will be available
to those who plant within their allotment
at 50 percent of parity. Those who do not
plant within their allotment will not be
eligible to receive price support.

The individual farm allotments will
be mailed out by the local ASCS offices
before December 11. One notice showing
the: amount of allotment for each crop
will be mailed to the operator of each
farm.

All farmers are urged to give this very
important matter serious consideration
and be sure to cast their vote in these
referendums on December 11.
