STER TO VOTE

NUMBER 84

_ person who votes must be registered prior

to or on May first. If you have not already
registered, you have but a short time to
qualify to vote because Friday of this
week is the last day of April.

It is entirely possible that this years
election may prove to be the most impor-
tant election to the people of Georgia
since the days of Reconstruction. The
problems faeing the people of Georgia

today eall for the most earnest and seri-

ous consideration of every patriotic citt-
zen and voting is the only method yet
devised by the mind of man as a substi-
tute for bayonets.

When our good patriotic citizeris fail
to vote, they are inviting either the ne-
cessity to fight or the loss of their liberty.
So, REGISTER AND VOTE.

Dear Tom: _ *

3 The following letter from Mr. Jay Gould of Radio Station
_WOWO, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is self- explanatory. Mr. Gould
direeted the program of which I wrote in the Market Bulletin

: There aren't any words in my vocabulary that can express the
deep thankfulness I feel to you for the personal sacrifice you made to
help us make our 15th Annual Achievement Award Banquet the success:
_that it was. I have heard nothing but the finest things about your talk.

TI must confess that the greatest satisfaction I had out of your
visit here, however, was the serious challenging conversations with you,
Earl, and Dr. John at meal times. It is with utmost sincerity that I repeat
my belief that you are following the road that leads to the. only sound
solution to agriculiural progress and all it means to each of us, not only
in health but in happiness and intelligence, as well.

With the very kindest regards, I am

s/ Jay Gould

Faithfully yours,
